Tang Tin Pui

Hong Kong born pianist Tin Pui Tang, is known for his sensitive musical approach and creativity. Tang has given concerts in the United Kingdom, the United states, Canada and Israel. A frequent soloist to collaborate with regional orchestras, his recent performances includes several concertos works of Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Grieg with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Boston Mercury Orchestra, ABRSM orchestra in Hong Kong and Academy symphony orchestra of the Hong Kong Academy for performing arts.
As a frequent visitor to international music festivals as a soloist, Tin-Pui was invited to participate in prestigious events such as Aspen Music Festival, Banff, Kirishima, Walnuthill, Philadelphia Young Pianist Academy, Hanoi, Borromeo. During these festivals, he received guidance from the renowned Sergei Babayan, Gary Graffman, Dang Thai Son, Eliso Virsaladze, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Alexander Korsantia, Anton Nel, Fabio Bidini, Meng Chieh Liu, Gabriel Kwok,and conductor Leonard Slatkin. He also served as a Polonsky Foundation fellow at the Aspen music festival and school in 2019.
Tin-Pui obtained his Bachelor of Music at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts under a full scholarship provided by ABRSM and was inducted to the dean’s list for his outstanding performance upon graduation. Following that he furthered his studies in piano at the Royal Academy of Music under a full scholarship by The Muriel, Lady Kadoorie Music Scholarship. He graduated with a master degree in piano performance with distinction.
He obtained an Artist Diploma at The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music with a full scholarship in 2022, under the tutelage of Arie Vardi. His previous teachers including Rustem Hayroudinoff, Mary Mei Loc Wu and pedagogue Isaac Lau.
